Svanen will soon spread its wings over the beautiful Mariager Fjord for the 31st year. The journey on Svanen takes you through an idyllic landscape filled with natural and cultural-historical experiences.
Experience Mariager Fjord from the Water
Mariager Fjord is known as Denmark’s longest fjord, with protected natural areas, large hills, and charming hiking trails. On board Svanen, you can experience the beautiful scenery of the fjord from the water.
Svanen docks in Mariager, Hobro, and Bramslev Bakker. You can board or disembark at all three destinations. If you choose to stay on board for the entire trip, you should set aside approximately three hours for relaxation, coziness, and tranquility.
The journey on Svanen is a beautiful experience for both young and old. The crew of Svanen is always ready to offer a light lunch, cold refreshments, or hot drinks. Svanen sails on selected days from early June to late September. See the sailing schedule at fjordtours.dk.
Special Cruises on Svanen
In addition to the scenic cruises, FjordTours, in collaboration with Nordjyske Museer, offers guided tours from Mariager to Hobro and from Mariager to Assens, focusing on the historical traces along the fjord.
FjordTours also returns with the Salt Tour and Triangle Route, where you can combine a boat trip with a ride on a vintage train and a visit to Mariager Salt Center, or a bus tour exploring the harbor environments in Mariager and Hobro.
NOTE: The Triangle Route collaborates with Mariager Museum. This means that a ticket for the Triangle Route also provides free entry to the cozy Mariager Museum.
