Welcome to Tid til ro under bøgen – a small eatery in the countryside of Aalestrup, far away from traffic and car noise. Here, you’ll find connection, coziness, and plenty of time to enjoy your food, coffee, or a drink in the garden when the weather allows it. We welcome everyone – whether you come in clogs, hiking boots, or anything in between.
The food is prepared with love and care for the ingredients, with a focus on local produce. From there, we venture out into the world, while prioritizing quality, animal welfare, and climate, as far as possible.
The owner of the place, Mie, personally takes care of the service and looks forward to a cozy chat about all sorts of things.
The menu is updated every month, and the food is classic Danish with a twist. Be sure to try Mie’s delicious cakes and desserts while you're here. One thing’s for sure – you won’t leave hungry.
We are open Thursday to Sunday from 10 AM until everyone is full and happy.
