The Triangle Route

The Triangle Route offers the opportunity to combine a ride on the tour boat Svanen on Denmark's most beautiful fjord, the Mariager Fjord, with a train ride on the Mariager-Handest Vintage Railway and a local bus trip that will bring you back to the starting point.
During the train ride, you'll travel back about 75 years in time - after boarding, the conductor will signal the departure, and then you can simply sit back and enjoy the atmosphere and the beautiful and unique nature you'll pass along the way. With a speed of about 30 km/h, you'll have plenty of time to experience the entire 17 km long veteran train track, which is the longest in Denmark.
The tour starts from both Mariager Harbor and Hobro Harbor - how you want to combine the trip in terms of the schedule and starting point is up to you.
