Troldebakken Camping
Troldebakken Camping is an authentic, picturesque, and cozy campsite with 88 pitches and 7 cabins of various sizes, all without their own bathroom/toilet. At Troldebakken Camping, you are in the midst of beautiful nature, close to the forest and the beach.
The campsite covers 42,000 m2, half of which is used for camping, and the other half is laid out as a fantastic beautiful natural area with its own forest and meadow. We appreciate all the wonderful things nature can do for us, and that's why we also enjoy having plenty of beautiful plants and flowers to look at. We also want to give back to nature, so we maintain our large natural area at the back of the campsite as 'vild med vilje' (wild on purpose), allowing birds, butterflies, bees, and forest animals to have space.
Facilities and activities at the campsite
The site is equipped with electricity on all pitches, a toilet building with handicap/family rooms, changing room, kitchen facilities, washing machine, and dryer. There is an indoor playroom, and the outdoor playground is designed so that only children's imagination sets the agenda for what to play. There is mini golf, outdoor table tennis, petanque, stigegolf, as well as football on a pannabane pitch. There is a bonfire place and an outdoor grill for self-service.
In the cafe, there are many board games, puzzles, and books that you can borrow and enjoy while having a cup of coffee, a cold beer, or eating a serving of pancakes with ice cream.
Troldebakken Camping offers both SUP boards and Sit-on-Top kayaks for rent if you are into active fun on the water. The campsite has a small shop with fresh bread and various groceries such as beer, water, sweets, and much more. And when the shop is closed for lunch, there is a vending machine in the foyer where you can buy sweets and ice cream with cash.
In the cozy cafe, there is an opportunity to buy food and drinks that you can enjoy in the cafe, the orangery, or on the terrace. You can also choose to take the food home or to the beach.
Throughout the year, various events are organized, such as music events, knitting gatherings, beer tastings, flea markets, harvest festivals, and Christmas markets. All events are advertised on Facebook, GoVisit, and on the notice board at the campsite.
With only 500 meters to Trend Skov, there are lovely hiking and biking trails in the area around Troldebakken Camping. Below the campsite, you will find Trend Strand, which is very child-friendly but also a popular beach for kite and windsurfing.
